Service

Owners, boards and investors face decisions that need sound financial analysis: whether to expand, raise capital, acquire a business or restructure. We provide that analysis and help you act on it.
Decisions about growth and investment are often made on incomplete figures. A business plan without a tested financial model may not convince a lender. Equally, an acquisition without due diligence can bring hidden tax and legal liabilities. Family businesses face their own questions about governance and succession.
Our advice draws on the firm's audit and tax experience. We know where figures are most likely to be wrong, and we test them before you rely on them.
Advisory engagements follow five stages, with a review point at the end of each stage.
Output to you: Agreed terms of reference
Output to you: Diagnostic findings
Output to you: Options paper and model
Output to you: Final report and presentation
Output to you: Implementation review
Feasibility study or business plan
Integrated financial model (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow)
Valuation report
Due diligence report with identified risks and price adjustments
Governance or restructuring report with an implementation plan
Our financial models are built to the standard a lender or investor expects, with separate input sheets, clear assumptions and integrated statements. Our due diligence draws on audit and tax experience, so it identifies issues that a purely commercial review may overlook.
We remain available after the report. Many clients ask us to monitor the plan and report progress to the board.
Yes. We prepare the business plan, financial model and information pack that lenders and investors require, and we can attend meetings with them.
